Tell you what, stress bending isn't as impossible as it sounded like. Why? That's simply because stress can easily be controlled if you know the right skill to control it. Fortunately, YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT PLACE. If you care to read through the following scroll, you'd be surprised that you have already learned the basics of stress bending. Okay, let's begin!

1. Dig deep into the problem
You don't just stress out for nothing, do you? The first step to stress bending is by knowing the reason why you are stressed out. The key point is to take a good five minutes of silence and then you can start analysing the source of your stress, it's like Ishikawa's Fishbone Diagram, right? If you take IB Business and Management HL, this problem-solving business tool will be very familiar to you. For non-business students, this Ishikawa's Fishbone Diagram analyses possible roots or causes of a problem. We can apply this skill in real life by analysing the causes of our stress. Simple, isn't it?

Why yes. To make it easier to digest, let's just take an example of my stress, okay. Hmm... I am stressed out because:
- ENGLISH BLOG ASSIGNMENT
- ENGLISH WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT
- ENGLISH RESPONSES
- BIO LAB REPORTS THAT I NEED TO IMPROVE (THE ONES THAT ARE GOING TO BE SENT TO THE IBO)
- BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT INTERNAL ASSESSMENT
- INDONESIAN EXTENDED ESSAY
- TOK ESSAY
- CAS ESSAY
- UNIVERSITY APPLICATIONS
and most importantly...
- SEMESTER ONE EXAMS NEXT WEEK.

2. Carry one gem at a time
This means you need to sort out your problems one by one. FACE IT LIKE A MAN. Don't run to your mama because stress scares you. Try to solve your problems. However.... DON'T TRY TO FINISH ALL OF THEM IN ONE DAY. IT WON'T WORK. I've tried this method thinking I have enough speed to type everything in one day, but I failed to do everything because of so many reasons. One of them is stress. I was so stressful when I tried to do all work at once. Maybe if I wasn't so panicked, I could have finished all the work in one day. SEE SO DON'T STRESS OUT. CALM DOWN. Learn to calm down here.

Patience is the key to successful stress bending. If you can manage to solve your problems (one by one, not simultaneously), I guarantee you can control your stress level and your IB problems will be lesser and lesser each time.

Well, in some emergency cases you will encounter the moment you need to carry two or three gems in one go. THAT'S PERFECTLY FINE. DON'T WORRY. In that case, the suggested solution will be just do whatever you can do in that amount of time. Finish 'em all and hope for a satisfactory score. (remember scroll #1 skill 1 about deadline?)

3. Spare some time to do refreshing activities
Who says you don't have time to rest? Admit it, you've tried to study but you feel so tired and you give up studying to play games or watch videos or read some other things. Everyone of us has tried that. Well, that is not good, technically, but it is also good in a way that it allows our mind to take a short break from studying. This will not only make us forgot about the stress for a while, it also increases our ability in subjects other than the core subjects we learned at school, such as, technology, entertainment, concentration, emotional intelligence, etc. SO IT IS VERY BENEFICIAL.
